How cookies and browser storage support this site, which services are optional, and how to choose what is allowed.

Cookies are small values kept by your browser. Local storage lasts until cleared; session storage normally lasts for the tab session. Necessary storage supports security, sign-in and privacy choices. Tools you choose to use also store room studies, component lists and selected settings so those features work.
In our EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland opt-in group, and when we cannot determine your region, optional services stay off until you allow them. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can switch it off at any time. Functional embeds and marketing are off by default everywhere. Global Privacy Control (GPC) keeps marketing off, including for returning visitors and when using Accept all.

Turning off a previously enabled category refreshes the page to stop loaded services and removes known optional cookies that this site can access. Saving also resets embeds loaded once. Save unfinished work first. We cannot delete cookies on another company’s domain or recall data already sent; use your browser’s site-data controls and the provider’s privacy controls for those. Your privacy choice is kept for up to 12 months.

Embedded services
Some pages embed content from other companies. Each is held behind a placeholder until you allow its category or load it once by hand. Loading connects your browser to that provider, which may receive your IP address and device information and use its own cookies. Trustpilot also offers a plain external link; Chatwoot loads only with functional consent. Provider cookie names and lifetimes can vary with their settings and your account.

Analytics and advertising
With analytics allowed we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are useful. With marketing allowed we use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising reached you. Google tags receive Consent Mode v2 signals; Meta uses its own consent controls. The Google container is not loaded while analytics is declined, and Meta is not loaded while marketing is declined. These services use online identifiers; aggregate reports do not mean the underlying data is anonymous.
