The Krix KA-1100 is the first subwoofer amplifier designed and engineered in-house by Krix — Australia's longest-running loudspeaker manufacturer, established in 1974. Built around ICEpower™ Class D amplification and a custom Krix 24-bit signal processor board, the KA-1100 was developed specifically to drive and maximise the performance of Krix passive subwoofers. Three pre-configured DSP modes replace the need for any external crossover or DSP hardware. Mode 1 and Mode 2 apply a variable low-pass filter (50–200Hz) and a high-pass filter tuned to the acoustic parameters of specific Krix subwoofer models, with output limits of 300W and 500W per channel respectively — protecting the driver while delivering optimal performance.
