Lighting Control Package
Glow

Glow

LEVEL 01

The foundation document. A fully annotated lighting control floor plan with channel assignments, fixture identification, zone colour coding, and a complete product specification list.

Glow is designed to give every stakeholder — integrator, programmer, and electrician — a single visual reference that removes ambiguity from the lighting control scope before a single cable is pulled.

The Problem This Solves

Most lighting control projects start installation before the scope is resolved.

Architectural drawings show fixture locations. They rarely show control channels. Electrical drawings show circuits. They rarely show dimming protocols or zone intent. The programmer arrives on site and reverse-engineers the project from incomplete documentation. The electrician has cabled to the wrong processor location. The dimmer type doesn't match the driver the builder specified.

These are not edge cases. They are the standard condition on projects where lighting control design was not separated from lighting design. Glow resolves the coordination layer before it becomes a site problem.

Every Kolosseum Glow document is a single source of truth: floor plan, channel assignment, fixture type, product list, and zone grouping — in one coherent set.

What Is Delivered

Glow Deliverables

01

Annotated Floor Plan Markup

Every luminaire on the architectural plan is identified, labelled, and assigned to a control channel. Fixture types are colour-coded by dimming protocol — phase, DALI, 0–10V, RGBW — so the electrician and programmer are reading from the same document.

02

Channel Assignment Schedule

A clear mapping of each lighting circuit to its corresponding control channel. This eliminates the on-site guesswork of figuring out which switch leg belongs to which load — a source of significant wasted time during commissioning.

03

Fixture Type Identification

All luminaire types are catalogued and tagged against the plan. Where multiple fixture types appear in a single room, each type is clearly distinguished so the programmer knows the dimming behaviour expected from each circuit.

04

Product Specification List

A curated list of the control products required to execute the design — processors, dimmers, keypads, and interfaces — referenced by model number, quantity, and location. This is not a shopping list; it is a specification document suitable for issuing to a supplier or builder for procurement.

05

Zone & Group Colour Coding

Zones and groups are visually differentiated on the plan using a consistent colour key. At a glance, a contractor can identify which circuits belong to a scene group without needing to cross-reference a separate schedule.

Lumen

Everything in Glow, plus the lighting control programming spreadsheet — the single document that every programmer uses as their point of truth to execute the project. Floor-by-floor, room-by-room: luminaire types, channel counts, driver compatibility, and commissioning notes.
