The 15" driver in a vented cabinet delivers deep bass extension suited to cinema-grade soundtrack reproduction, with a form factor and output capability that bridges the compact THE12 Active Vented and the PRO-series sealed designs. Using a passive subwoofer allows amplifier selection to be optimised independently — pairing the THE15 with a high-current class D or AB subwoofer amplifier from the equipment rack enables precise control over headroom and protection. The passive design also eliminates amplifier heat from the speaker enclosure location, which can be beneficial in tight installation environments.
