When the physics are this exacting, approximation is not an option.

The Kassius package is produced for projects where the acoustic performance expectations, speaker count, construction complexity, or client brief require analysis beyond what a standard design scope can accommodate. Every decision is documented with the rigour that the installation demands.

1

Head Position

The reference seating position is placed to minimise interaction with room modes. In larger, more complex rooms this analysis is more demanding, boundary interactions multiply, and the consequences of a misplaced seat are harder to recover from downstream.

2

Screen Size

Screen geometry is derived from viewing distance and applied against the field-of-view requirements of the intended codec, including the specific geometry constraints of Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and DTS:X Pro as they relate to CEDIA RP22.

3

Speaker Layout

At advanced channel counts, speaker placement becomes a three-dimensional engineering problem. Azimuth, elevation, and distance for every channel are calculated and documented, and cross-referenced to the CEDIA RP22 proximity grading that confirms codec compatibility.

Advanced Speaker Configurations

High-performance configurations from low channel count through to 17.8.10 and beyond. Deploying Trinnov Altitude 16/32 or StormAudio Dante AES67 AoIP platforms, with detailed understanding of capability, the Trinnov immersive audio whitepaper, and its relationship to the CEDIA RP22 documentation.

CEDIA RP22 Grading

Speaker placements are graded to CEDIA RP22 standards, confirming compatibility with multiple native, legacy, and upmixing codecs: Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, DTS:X Pro, and IMAX Enhanced.

Advanced Room Correction Integration

Speaker positions can be designed to align with room correction platforms including Dirac Active Room Treatment, Dirac Bass Control, or Trinnov's Waveforming technology, maximising the performance available from each system.

Infrasonic Subwoofer Integration

Where the brief calls for it, infrasonic subwoofer integration is included, documenting placement, loading, and the infrastructure requirements for frequencies that are felt rather than heard.

Advanced Isolation Construction

Comprehensive construction details for acoustic isolation, wall, ceiling, and floor assemblies specified with sufficient detail for a builder to price and execute without interpretation.

~25 Pages of Detail

Approximately 25 pages of drawings and documentation. This is the document that the installer, builder, and acoustic consultant all work from. It is produced so that each trade has precisely what it needs, no more, no less.

Intake Form

You complete our structured intake form, room dimensions, construction stage, preferred format, budget range, and any known constraints. This replaces a lengthy discovery call and lets us prepare before we speak.

The document that precedes the installation.

Tell us about the room, the codec targets, and the construction stage. We will confirm whether the Kassius scope is appropriate, or whether we need to discuss something more tailored.
