The Krix Phonix is the mid-range horn-loaded on-wall speaker in the Krix dedicated cinema family, sitting between the compact OWX Series and the flagship Megaphonix. Like all Krix dedicated cinema speakers, it is built around a horn-loaded compression driver and mid/bass section with controlled directivity to ensure consistent coverage across a wide listening area. The Phonix family includes three variants: the standard Phonix for LCR front-wall placement, the Phonix Flat with a shallower on-wall profile for tighter installations, and the Phonix 45 with a 45° angled baffle that allows the speaker to be positioned on side walls while directing sound toward the listening position — making it particularly well suited to surround and rear surround roles in dedicated cinema rooms.
